The “changes” to be forced on us starting in 2013 do not provide “hope.” For cancer patients, ObamaCare’s “change” is a drastic threat to your survival …

occupies a prominent place in the list of popular procedures. It uses breast implants to make the breasts bigger and enhance their contour. Whether it is just to restore the lost volume and shape of their breasts, or to enable them to wear more revealing attire; women of different ages can get great results from breast augmentation.
What the Procedure Involves
The procedure, performed commonly with a general anesthetic, takes no more than two hours to complete. After anesthesia has been administered, the incision can be placed in the armpit, under the breast at the crease or around the nipple. Once the incision has been made, either a submuscular (beneath the pectoral muscle) or subglandular placement (over the pectoral muscle) of the implant is done. The final step is the closing of the incisions using dissolving, layered and fine sutures. The sutures would be taped to ensure greater support.
The Cost
Several factors determine the amount you would have to spend on going in for a breast augmentation. These include:
• Where the surgeon is located and his experience • The choice of implant
Benefits of this Procedure
Common benefits associated with the breast augmentation procedure are:
• More shapely, attractive breasts. • It is safe and the breasts appear and feel natural. • Scars, though there, are well-concealed. • Long-lasting results.
A Word of Caution
Breast augmentation is no doubt a thoroughly advantageous procedure. However, it carries its own possible risks like ruptures, hematoma, and capsular contraction. A patient must first discuss these risks with the concerned practitioner and only proceed with the procedure if she is sure that the benefits would far outweigh the likely risks.

Right from a very tender age, women are subjected to ideas regarding the size and shape of their breasts. For many, self esteem and confidence is tied to how good they or people around feel about their breasts. How To Firm Breasts Without Surgery
Having nicely shaped, well rounded breasts can actually, make a woman feel more confident about herself. Modern media – from press to TV – tells us what shape and how big a breast should be. The desire to conform to these ‘standards’ has made so many women consider, and eventually opt for, breast enhancement surgical procedures.
Undoubtedly, having a nicely shaped breast is good for self confidence, however, with surgical breast enhancement procedures (breast augmentation, lifts, implants etc) having several alarming side effects, more and more women now are now tending towards natural breast enhancement procedures.
Natural Breast enhancement is a way to enhance your breasts with none of the risks associated with surgical procedures. Although, with natural breast enhancement, you would not expect to get instant results as with surgical procedures, but with the peace of mind that comes with it compared with the serious risk involved with invasive surgical procedures, you probably would not prefer breast surgery.
These are some heart touching facts you should know about breasts enhancement surgical procedures:
There are several forms of the chemical in breast implants surgery that can cause a problem in the human organism. Silicon (Si) is the basic element and probably causes immune system changes. Silica or SiO2 is the form it is mined from the earth. Silicone gel is a synthetic material containing 38% silicon. The silica is 45% silicon. There is slow leakage (“bleeding”) of the silicone gel from the implants through the semi-permeable membrane envelope and also into and through the capsule that surrounds the implants. This is picked up by the microphages (scavenger cells) of our immune system and is broken down inside these cells which travel all over the body. The gel breaks down inside these cells, which travel all over the body. The gel breaks down into Silica and Silicon which causes an immune system dysregulation. Thus, there are antibodies produced against the silicon and also against the silicon and protein complex (organ systems) so that you get autoimmune illness.
Also:
- Silicone gel implants were banned in 1992 by the FDA.
- If you have (or had) a ruptured silicone breast implant, you will be denied Health Insurance Coverage.
- Saline-filled implants tend to have a higher rate of leaking and deflation than silicone gel implants, which means more frequent surgery to replace them.
- In a study published in the Lancet medical journal, Dr Lori Brown of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says: “There is emerging consensus that both the incidence and prevalence of breast-implant rupture are much higher than previously suspected.”
- 21% overall increase in cancers for women with implants, compared to women of the same age in the general population.
- Implant patients were three times as likely to die from lung cancer, emphysema and pneumonia as other plastic surgery patients.
The study is based on medical records and death certificates of almost 8,000 women with breast implants, including silicone gel implants and saline implants, and more than 2,000 other plastic surgery patients. (National Cancer Institute (NCI), Boston University, Abt Associates, and the Food and Drug Administration, with Dr. Louise Brinton from NCI as lead author.)
These facts aren’t so interesting, are they?
On the other hand, there are several non surgical products and procedures that can enlarge, enhance and lift your breasts such as pills, creams, special bras; using weights and even, hypnosis. Most of these are natural and devoid of the risks associated with surgical procedures. Most of the pills are herbal and made of natural products. These natural products also have other benefits. Some even claim that they can help with other health problems, like protecting you against breast cancer or stopping hot flushes. These could be real bonus, if true. How To Firm Breasts Without Surgery
Most of the natural breast enhancement pills or creams are unique and all natural. The herbs and extracts they contain are traditionally known for their ability to naturally balance female hormones and promote feminine features like firm and rounded breast and even increased breast size over a while.

The results of breast augmentation are quite apparent immediately after surgery. However, you will need time to recover before you can start to fully and comfortably enjoy your new and improved bustline. The healing process is an important consideration when you are thinking about breast augmentation. A well-informed commitment to surgery will include taking account of the post surgical steps to achieving your body goals.
Breast augmentation entails the surgical insertion of breast implants, either silicone or saline, beneath your breast tissue and possibly even beneath the muscle tissue of your chest. The surgery is typically an outpatient procedure that lasts from one to two hours.
Depending on what you want for your body and what your physical form can accommodate, breast augmentation can increase your breast size by one or more bra cup sizes. Desiring a fuller bustline and a figure with more pronounced proportions are the primary motivations for women to seek breast augmentation. Reconstruction after breast surgery or injury, rejuvenation after pregnancy and nursing, and correction of breasts that have markedly differing sizes also are appropriate reasons for breast augmentation.
Your First Week After Breast Augmentation
Initially after your breast augmentation Beverly Hills, you will feel tired and sore for several days, but you should be up and walking after 24 to 48 hours. Pain medication will be prescribed as necessary to help you with post-surgical discomfort. You will have to completely avoid strenuous activity and monitor for any post-surgical problems like extreme swelling or bleeding.
After a few days, your gauze dressings will be removed and your plastic surgeon may direct you to wear a surgical bra. At the end of your first week of recovery you could typically return to your job unless your occupation is physically demanding. Then your plastic surgeon would have to gauge your recovery and advise you on the appropriate time to resume working.
Your Second Week After Breast Augmentation
At about the 10 day point, your stitches will be removed. If you have been experiencing a burning sensation in your nipples, this can often persist through the second week. Although your fuller breasts are in place, they will remain sore and you should limit physical contact with them as you continue to heal.
Your Next Six Weeks After Breast Augmentation
Under the supervision of your surgeon, you will begin to resume your regular physical activities in the ensuing weeks. Breast soreness typically lasts for three to four weeks before fading. Swelling should also diminish during this period, except for perhaps minor swelling. The scars from your surgery will be pink and firm for roughly six weeks. It will take months for the scars to soften and lighten. They will never be completely gone, but the scars often will diminish to barely noticeable.
The recovery timelines described above are what you can typically expect after breast augmentation surgery. Individual cases vary depending on physical characteristics, overall health, and how well you follow guidelines for limiting strenuous activity. Although breast augmentation requires a moderate recovery time, many women are immensely pleased with the results and agree that the discomfort was worth the opportunity to fulfill their dreams of an enhanced bust.

With breast enhancement being such a big issue with many women, it has been understandable as to why in the past the invasive surgical procedures have long been so popular. But along with the miraculous wonders of modern medicine and the on going advancements of plastic surgeries all together, there are still many hidden dangers directly involved with these types of procedures.
Plastic surgery is so much more complicated than what many women realize until they are delving into all of the research and studies of the complications and health risks that goes with those new breasts. There are many more real horror stories than that of what is openly revealed to the common public. Not only is there a long period of time of overall surgical recovery, but the number of infections that is so common to be a part of breast augmentation surgical proceedings should also be a huge concern when considering breast enhancement surgery.
There are too, so many other problems that may occur right away after getting those new breasts or even months to years down the road. The breasts can shift or leak, causing all kinds of problems and the need for another surgery to fix the issue. There can be the hardening of the scar tissue that will change the fell or placement of one or even both breasts, which will also give need for another surgical procedure. Even if none of the worst scenarios actually happen, there is often a loss of feeling within one or both of the breasts, and this can truly dampen the sex life for some women.
So with all this and more when it comes to breast enhancement through surgery, why would a woman still choose this method for larger breasts? Some women have always longed for plumber or larger breasts to better fit their clothing, but for others it is to place back what gravity and time has taken away. But what these women need to know is that there are now non-invasive breast enhancement products that really do work and are readily available to all women today.
Breast enhancement now comes as simple and easy as just a daily vitamin would be or a piece of breath freshening gum is to use. There are all herbal breast enhancement chewing gums that will give the permanent results of real breast growth and a more enhanced firmness. The same with the natural breast enhancement supplements that is now readily available. So put invasive surgery out of mind and start exploring the healthier ways of permanent breast enhancement.
Along with these breast enhancement products being so easily accessible, they are just as easy to use. Take the breast enhancement chewing gum for example; all that is required for permanently fuller, plumper, and even a cup size larger breast is to chew the gum for 15 minutes three times a day. Now how easy is that to do daily! The results are forever, all though the need for the gum is not, and after only a few weeks of using to a few months, there will be breast enhancement results to enjoy!

If you’re considering a breast augmentation, you’ve probably read enough to be confused about whether to choose saline implants of silicone gel implants. Your choice of breast implant will depend on your and your doctor’s decisions about what is best for your body. In this article, we’ll compare the different types of implants in use for today’s breast augmentation surgeries.
Saline Implants:
The majority of today’s breast augmentations are done with silicone rubber implants filled with saline. These are currently the only implants available in the US to women who seek cosmetic breast augmentation surgery. Saline implants are either round or teardrop shape. The round implant placed beneath the pectoral muscle or sub pectoral, is perhaps the most commonly utilized combination. The implant is flattened in its upper poles by the overlying muscle producing an appealing breast shape. Rotation of the implant, a potential problem with a teardrop implant is avoided with the round implant beneath the muscle. Teardrop implants are more likely to be utilized when the placement is on top of the muscle beneath the breast tissues or sub glandular. Sub glandular teardrop implants may produce more cleavage as they may be placed a bit closer to the midline, they are less likely to produce unusual breast movements as the pectoral muscles are flexed. Your choice will depend on your idea of the ideal breast shape and your doctor’s preferences.
Saline implants are constructed of a tough outer silicone shell with a saline solution inside. Saline implants also come in either a smooth or a textured variety. Textured saline implants were developed to encourage tissue adherence and to reduce the risk of capsular contracture. Some saline implants also come in an expandable variety in which the saline implant can be enlarged by adding more saline after surgery. The expandable implant allows the overlying tissues to gradually adapt to the new size and is often utilized in breast reconstruction or in cases of marked breast asymmetry. This type of saline breast implant is more expensive than traditional saline implants.
Silicone Gel Implants:
The first implants used in breast augmentation surgery were made of a variety of materials, but in 1964 a silicone rubber envelope filled with a silicone gel implant was utilized and quickly became the standard for breast enlargement. However, silicone gel has not been routinely used in breast augmentations since 1992, when they were banned by the FDA following reports of leakage that was thought to cause tissue diseases. In the years since, many studies have failed to confirm these concerns.
In the years since silicone implants were banned, the cohesive silicone gel implant was developed and is already in use in Europe and Canada and in clinical trials in the US. The difference between silicone gel implants and the original silicone implant is that the gels have a hard, multilayer silicone shell. Inside is a cohesive silicone gel that retains its shape if ruptured because of its consistency.
Saline filled implants may be expected to produce a breast enlargement that is warmer on a cold day, and more likely to demonstrate wrinkles than the silicone gel implants. Gel implants are cooler to the touch but have a consistency that feels much like breast tissue, gel implants are more likely to develop firmness with a constricting fibrous contracture of the scar tissue that forms around the implant . Until the US FDA approves the use of silicone gel implants for breast augmentation, only women who agree to participate in clinical trials can use them.
Your doctor will be an important resource for information and can help you answer any questions that you may have about which type of implant to choose. Once you’ve done your research, asked questions, and found a great doctor, you’re well on your way to enjoying fuller breasts and a more positive self image.
