Facts About Vitamins

Science concurs with the practice of taking a daily multi-vitamin. The American Medical Association (AMA) says that “sub-optimal levels of vitamins are associated with increased risk of chronic diseases”, and that “all adults should take daily vitamin supplements.” Harvard University refers to daily vitamins as “micronutrient insurance”. It’s obvious that we can all benefit from vitamins but how do you choose the best multi-vitamin?

The first and best thing to do is check for pharmaceutical grade standards. The overwhelming majority of vitamins are not regulated properly. With the majority of vitamin companies, you really don’t know what you’re getting or if your body will even be able to absorb and use the vitamins. Pharmaceutical grade vitamins are held to the same strict standards as pharmaceutical medications. It ensures you that your body is actually getting what it advertises.

The next thing to do is check for completeness. Does your multiple vitamin go above and beyond the recommended daily allowance (RDA) and deliver optimal amounts of vitamins and minerals that act synergistically to give you the most benefit? The only way to answer these questions without spending hours on the internet researching vitamin companies is to ask the experts.

Nutrisearch is the authority on nutritional supplements. It’s their job to subjectively rate the quality of all supplements. It reveals the quality of every vitamin brand using very strict guidelines by an unbiased panel of physicians. They deliver the facts about vitamins like you’ve never seen before. Your search is over. The Superfood-Guru has done the research for you.

How To Win With Cancer

Just as in the general population, there has been a
growing epidemic of cancer among celebrities and
public figures, such as in the recent cases of
Patrick Swayze, Cristina Applegate, Sheryl Crow,
Melissa Etheridge, Farrah Fawcett, Ted Kennedy,
Kylie Minogue, Rudy Giuliani, Lance Armstrong,
just to name a few.

Even more celebrities have lost loved ones to cancer,
such as:

Angelina Jolie, Madonna and Rosie O’Donnell (who all lost
their mothers to cancer); Paul McCartney (who lost his first
wife, Linda, to breast cancer); CBS news anchor Katie Couric
(who lost her husband to colon cancer); American Idol David
Cook (who lost his maternal grandfather to lung cancer);
Brian Williams of NBC Nightly News (who lost his mother to
lymphoma and his sister to breast cancer); S. Epatha
Merkerson of “Law and Order” (who lost 2 of her very best
friends to lung cancer) … and the list goes on.

Cancer has become a much bigger threat to human lives –
and has caused more deaths — than all the wars of the world
combined.  In the U.S. alone, every 60 seconds, someone dies
from cancer — and that’s like losing as many people as we
did on 9/11 every 2 days.

Here’s another grim statistic:  Every 3 minutes, someone
new is diagnosed with cancer.  Is it any wonder, then,
that celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, America Ferrera,
Meryl Streep, Lance Armstrong, Scarlett Johansson, Forest
Whitaker, Hilary Swank, Charlize Theron and dozens of
other big-name celebrities banded together to put an end
to cancer during a one-hour television special titled
“Stand Up 2 Cancer?”  The telethon aired on all 3
networks (ABC, CBS and NBC) to raise funds for cancer
research.

The problem with raising funds for cancer research is this:

The funds eventually go towards cancer research that does
NOT cure cancer.  In the 95 years that health organizations like
the American Cancer Society have been dedicated to eliminating
cancer as a major health problem, there has been VERY LITTLE
PROGRESS made in the curing of the deadly disease.  Instead,
the incidence of cancer has grown exponentially over the last
hundred years.

A single cancer fundraising campaign, such as the Avon Walk for
Breast Cancer, for instance, raises approximately $150 million in
funds for cancer research.  Tens of billions of dollars have been
raised by all the fundraising campaigns combined – and yet,
according to the American Cancer Society, there’s still a 41%
probability that an individual, male or female, will develop cancer
in his or her lifetime (or die from it)!

Why have all the billions of dollars raised for cancer research
been FUTILE in curing cancer?

Many people, including the Chairman of the Cancer Prevention
Coalition, Dr. Samuel Epstein, state that the priorities of
health organizations that claim to be dedicated to finding a
cancer cure are “economically motivated, and reflect
conflicts of interests with the pharmaceutical industry,
the pesticide industry, and the mammography industry.”

Another reason why attempts at curing cancer have been
futile thus far is because the funds raised have been allocated
to raising public awareness of the merits of the 3 conventional
cancer therapies – that is, chemotherapy, radiation and surgery.

And yet, Oncologist Dr. Tullio Simoncini states that according to
his polls and questionnaires, “75 percent of doctors say they’d
refuse chemotherapy if they were struck with cancer due to its
ineffectiveness and its devastating side effects.”  In fact, the
medical journal, “Clinical Oncology,” published the results of a
study in December 2004, wherein it was shown that
chemotherapy has a success rate of just over 2 percent for
all cancers!  [That's a FAILURE rate of 98%!]

Therefore, funneling research funds towards the advancement
of ineffective therapies that don’t eliminate the root CAUSE
of cancer will always be a losing proposition.

The fact is, the business of “curing” cancer – or any disease,
for that matter — has become an overcomplicated system
that is usually invasive and expensive.  More often than not,
it also does more harm than good – and the “good” that it does
is limited to relieving only the SYMPTOMS of the disease, and
not its CAUSE.

But now, there is a simple and natural therapy that is
scientifically proven to eradicate cancer – without the need
for surgery, drugs or radiation.  In fact, this therapy has been
prescribed and administered by more than 15,000
European doctors, naturopaths and health
practitioners to heal not just cancer but most other
diseases, including AIDS, heart disease, Parkinson’s
Disease, Alzheimer’s Disease and diabetes, to name a few.

Before I found this therapy, my father died of colon cancer
in 1999.

It was painful for him, but maybe even more painful
for us, his family, to watch as he writhed in agony
during the last 6 months of his life.  If you ever
witness someone you love die like this, it will change
your life forever, just as it has changed mine.

If you thought that experience must’ve been awful,
my nightmare continued when, not long after my father
died, my sister was stricken with cervical cancer; and then
my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Both of
them are in remission now because their respective cancers
were surgically removed.  But I couldn’t help but fear that
their cancers would recur just like my father’s cancer did
after a few years of remission — and I was afraid that they,
too, might die just as my father did.

This is why I’ve been tireless in my pursuit to find a cure
for cancer — to save the lives of my beloved mother and
sister.  My search led me to find this scientifically proven
therapy that proved to be much more than I was looking for.

Alternative health practitioners, as well as researchers and
doctors, have yet to find a disease that does NOT respond well
to this therapy.  And best of all, when this self-administered
one-minute therapy is used properly, there are no known risks.

When I stumbled upon this remarkable therapy, I used it on
myself to successfully eradicate a chronic throat inflammation
(that I feared would become cancerous) in just 2 weeks –  and
my husband experienced a SPECTACULAR reversal of a serious
lymphatic condition that he had suffered from all his life, and
which was considered “incurable.”  I knew then that this therapy
was the closest thing to a panacea that I had been looking for.

I began to think that it would be a DISSERVICE to humanity
to keep information about this therapy available only to the
limited number of people who stumbled upon it by accident
(like I did).  That’s why I sat down and wrote “The One-Minute
Cure: The Secret to Healing Virtually All Diseases” – see
http://scrnch.me/82ya4

Even as I was writing the book, I knew I’d meet with
tremendous opposition because the simple therapy which
is detailed in the book, represents the biggest threat to the
trillion-dollar revenues of the pharmaceutical and medical
industries.

Today, I remain convinced that if all the funds raised for cancer
research were dedicated to putting this book in the hands of
every man and woman on the planet, we could not only stamp out
cancer altogether but also have a world that is free of disease.

I urge you to get this book today and learn the one-minute cure
for yourself – and give a copy of the book to all the people you
care about, as well as people who are battling disease, or people
who don’t have health insurance – before the “powers that be”
in the pharmaceutical industry force this book out of circulation.

How To Firm Breasts Without Surgery – Breast Enhancement without Surgery

How To Firm Breasts Without Surgery

Right from a very tender age, women are subjected to ideas regarding the size and shape of their breasts. For many, self esteem and confidence is tied to how good they or people around feel about their breasts. How To Firm Breasts Without Surgery

Having nicely shaped, well rounded breasts can actually, make a woman feel more confident about herself. Modern media – from press to TV – tells us what shape and how big a breast should be. The desire to conform to these ‘standards’ has made so many women consider, and eventually opt for, breast enhancement surgical procedures.

Undoubtedly, having a nicely shaped breast is good for self confidence, however, with surgical breast enhancement procedures (breast augmentation, lifts, implants etc) having several alarming side effects, more and more women now are now tending towards natural breast enhancement procedures.

Natural Breast enhancement is a way to enhance your breasts with none of the risks associated with surgical procedures. Although, with natural breast enhancement, you would not expect to get instant results as with surgical procedures, but with the peace of mind that comes with it compared with the serious risk involved with invasive surgical procedures, you probably would not prefer breast surgery.

These are some heart touching facts you should know about breasts enhancement surgical procedures:

There are several forms of the chemical in breast implants surgery that can cause a problem in the human organism. Silicon (Si) is the basic element and probably causes immune system changes. Silica or SiO2 is the form it is mined from the earth. Silicone gel is a synthetic material containing 38% silicon. The silica is 45% silicon. There is slow leakage (“bleeding”) of the silicone gel from the implants through the semi-permeable membrane envelope and also into and through the capsule that surrounds the implants. This is picked up by the microphages (scavenger cells) of our immune system and is broken down inside these cells which travel all over the body. The gel breaks down inside these cells, which travel all over the body. The gel breaks down into Silica and Silicon which causes an immune system dysregulation. Thus, there are antibodies produced against the silicon and also against the silicon and protein complex (organ systems) so that you get autoimmune illness.

Also: How To Firm Breasts Without Surgery

- Silicone gel implants were banned in 1992 by the FDA.

- If you have (or had) a ruptured silicone breast implant, you will be denied Health Insurance Coverage.

- Saline-filled implants tend to have a higher rate of leaking and deflation than silicone gel implants, which means more frequent surgery to replace them.

- In a study published in the Lancet medical journal, Dr Lori Brown of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says: “There is emerging consensus that both the incidence and prevalence of breast-implant rupture are much higher than previously suspected.”

- 21% overall increase in cancers for women with implants, compared to women of the same age in the general population.

- Implant patients were three times as likely to die from lung cancer, emphysema and pneumonia as other plastic surgery patients.

The study is based on medical records and death certificates of almost 8,000 women with breast implants, including silicone gel implants and saline implants, and more than 2,000 other plastic surgery patients. (National Cancer Institute (NCI), Boston University, Abt Associates, and the Food and Drug Administration, with Dr. Louise Brinton from NCI as lead author.)

These facts aren’t so interesting, are they?

On the other hand, there are several non surgical products and procedures that can enlarge, enhance and lift your breasts such as pills, creams, special bras; using weights and even, hypnosis. Most of these are natural and devoid of the risks associated with surgical procedures. Most of the pills are herbal and made of natural products. These natural products also have other benefits. Some even claim that they can help with other health problems, like protecting you against breast cancer or stopping hot flushes. These could be real bonus, if true. How To Firm Breasts Without Surgery

Most of the natural breast enhancement pills or creams are unique and all natural. The herbs and extracts they contain are traditionally known for their ability to naturally balance female hormones and promote feminine features like firm and rounded breast and even increased breast size over a while.

The best part of the job is to compare the different breast enhancement options, see what pills or procedure make the highest quality breast enhancement supplement. Make sure you find the best supplement for you and make your choice. You can have larger or firmer breasts in a matter of weeks.

Remember that you won’t get an automatic result as with surgery. But if you take your time to research the options available to you and made the right pick, you should be seeing results in not too long a time. At least, you could be rest assured, you won’t need to bother your head about any serious side effects or repeated invasive surgeries.

So when you want a fuller, firmer and more beautiful bustline or you just want to re-gain the nicely shaped, well rounded breast of your younger years, you may want to consider an all-natural, non-surgical breast enhancement procedure. As with all products, always remember to do your homework. Research very well and make the best of choices. How To Firm Breasts Without Surgery

Breast Augmentation – An Overview

Breast augmentation, known as augmentation mammoplasty is becoming both more common and more safe in all health aspects. Surgical procedures to enhance the breast the size (breast enlargement), and/or shape (breast lift) of a woman’s breasts are considered “elective” cosmetic surgery. However breast reductions and breast reconstruction are considered “corrective” plastic surgery. For these reasons some insurance plans may cover the corrective breast surgeries.

There can be a number of motivations behind breast augmentation and some of the most common reasons are:

1. Enhancing and balancing body structure keeping the size of the breasts in consideration. Women with small breast size opt for breast enlargement.

2. General reduction in breast size is frequently observed after pregnancy and breast feeding. Breast lifts are commonly done to reshape “sagging” breast or implants can be used to restore breast size.

3. There can be a variation between the two breast sizes; breast augmentation procedures can be used to bring them to same size.

A comprehensive discussion with a surgeon is recommended before breast augmentation. Every surgery candidate should gain clarity about the process, and it’s realistic benefits along with understanding the side effects and risks. In surgical terms, a breast implant can be inserted behind or in front of the breast’s chest muscles to increase the size of the bust-line. Breast augmentation may impart added confidence and improve self-image, however many mistakenly believe that changes your appearance slightly will change your looks as well as your outlook and this is an unhealthy approach. It is necessary to be healthy and have a healthy self-image before seeking out breast augmentation.

There are two most common types of implants:

§Silicon shell implant filled with silicone gel, and

§Silicone shell implant filled with salt-water (saline).

Saline-filled implants are done without any restrictions. For gel-filled implants, permission is necessary from FDA (Food and Drug Administration).

However common, breast augmentation is surgery so there are possibilities for unexpected outcomes as well as health risks. Capsular contracture is the most common problem that is experienced after breast augmentation. It generally happens when the scar tissue around the implant begins to tighten. It will make the breast feel harder and uncomfortable. Removal or replacement of the implant can solve this problem. Some swelling and pain may appear due to excessive bleeding during the surgery. There is always a threat of infection soon after a surgery. It takes time to heal and any exposure to infectious elements can cause trouble.

There can be adverse effects on nipples after a breast reduction, breast lift or breast implant surgery. They tend to get overly sensitive, hard and even go numb in some cases. A breast implant may break or leak under certain circumstances, and leakage of silicon implants in particular can lead to many complications effecting health and appearance. It can happen due to excessive pressure, defects or other reasons.

Young women or those planning a family should find relief in that breast augmentation does not cause any side-effects during or after pregnancy. Breast milk will be available for the child within a week. There are no instances of breast cancers amongst the women who underwent breast augmentation. It is necessary to detect complications at an early stage to prevent impacts, therefore regular post-surgery consults with your plastic surgeon is advised.

Breast augmentation is done at various hospitals and cosmetic surgery clinics and private practices. The cost of the largely surgery is effected by the type of facilities that are provided. The cost varies greatly with the skill and experience of the surgeon as well. Local anesthesia will be given to the patient in order to carry out the surgery. Complete healing will take a couple of weeks.

It is highly likely that, if you have been wanting to breast augmentation, you have been heard surrounded by people struggling to talk you out of the procedure. This is how roughly every woman goes for the duration of when she considers it. The truth is that many women are not happy with the shape of their bodies. For that matter, there aren’t many humans that are happy with their various shapes and sizes. Breast Augmentation Photo Gallery

Thankfully, now it is possible to do something about it. Breast augmentation, for the most part, is a completely safe procedure. It has come a long way since the days when implants would spring leaks, clump up or migrate to other parts of the body. In the last couple of decades, plastic surgery has come a long way and now you can shape your body just about any way that you want to. The question then isn’t “is it possible” but “should I?” And deciding whether or not to get plastic surgery is something that nobody can decide for you. It is your body. Before you make the leap, however, ask yourself a few questions:

1. Why do I want to do this procedure? Some women change their shapes for health reasons. Back problems, weight problems, etc can provide quite a few reasons to consult a surgeon to help change the shape of your body. If your reasons for wanting to change yourself are mostly emotional, consider talking over your options with a counselor. Your counselor might be able to help you identify other triggers in your life that are contributing to your low body image. Breast Augmentation Photo Gallery

2. Can I afford breast augmentation? For the most part this procedure is considered voluntary and it might not be covered by your insurance. Take a look at your finances. Plastic surgery is often expensive. Can you truly afford surgery without strapping your bank account? Are there cheaper alternatives? While plastic surgery is not always permanent, reversing this operation can be costly. Look beyond your bank account. Can you afford to take time away from work to recover from your surgery? The recovery time varies for everyone.Breast Augmentation Photo Gallery

Will your job still be waiting for you if you need to take a few weeks to recover? Make sure you go over all of your options with your surgeon before you agree to have the procedure done. Breast Enhancement Surgeries, Which One is Suitable for You?

Before deciding to undergo any breast surgery, it is important to have a clear knowledge on the different types of breast enhancement surgeries available.

As recommended by Yvonne Lee in her book “To All Women Who Want To Enhance Their Breasts Naturally, But Don’t Know How To Start”, it is best to seek several consultations with different surgeons as different surgeons might be using different techniques, have different opinions, and will have different aesthetic preferences.

One type of breast enhancement surgery is “Benelli Mastopexy (Peri-Areola breast lift)”. Peri-Areola breast lift is one of the several techniques for breast lift whereby the scars are designed around the areola. It is useful for women with a projecting nipple/areola complex (sometimes called torpedo or missile shaped breasts), and can also be used to reduce the size of the areola at the same time.

To be suitable for Benelli Mastopexy, the patient must be in good health, and not have any active diseases or pre-existing medical conditions. Due to the natural stretching and sagging of the breast skin after pregnancy, it is highly recommend that the patient waits until she no longer wants to have any additional children before having the surgery.

Another type of breast enhancement surgery is Breast augmentation. It is technically known as augmentation mammoplasty, it is a surgical procedure to enhance the size and shape of a women’s breast for several reasons. The reasons could be to enhance the body contour of a women who feels that her breast size is too small; to correct a reduction in breast volume after pregnancy; to balance a difference in breast size; or even as a reconstructive technique following breast surgery.

Each patient should understand that in every surgery, pain and discomfort would be included. As every individual has different body constitutes, they will need to spent different amount of time on their recovery process, this would results in a loss of time from work and other activities. As all surgical procedures produce scars, it is important to be very sure of what your decision is before proceeding, as the scar is permanent.

Breast Lift (Mastopexy) is another breast surgery available. Breast lift surgery is performed to remove the excess skin of sagging breasts without greatly reducing the size of the breast. It is usually done as a cosmetic procedure whereby the breast is given a more youthful, and perky appearance.

Breast lift is suitable for women who are happy with the size of their breasts but are dissatisfied with the sagging and loss of firmness that occurs with age. Breast lift surgery can be performed in healthy women of any age. As some older women have a higher possibility of sagging breasts, it is more common for them to choose breast lift surgery.

For those women that intend to enlarge their breasts using implants, they can also consider breast lift to be performed in conjunction as it has a lifting effect for the enlarged breasts. A woman that wishes to raise the position of downward facing nipples or reduce the size of large areola can consider Mastopexy too. This surgical procedure is also a choice for those who want to balance asymmetry of breasts or to match a healthy breast to one that has been operated on for breast cancer.

Breast reduction is another surgery performed by cosmestic surgeons. There are several reasons as to why some women choose to undergo breast reduction surgery in some part of their life. They could face the pains of being tortured by neck, and back pain due to the large sagging breasts. Their shoulder could also be sore due to the bra strap cutting into them. To some, it may even be difficult for them to exercise, play sports, and fit into clothing. Therefore, breast reduction surgery is performed to produce smaller, lighter, and firmer breasts that are more proportionate to the body. These results could help to heal the patient’s physical or emotional pains.

If the patient is a smoker, he/she will be required to stop smoking for at least a week before and after the surgery. For those who are overweight, they will most likely be asked to loss the extra pounds before the surgery. Women intending to breastfeed some point in time are not recommended to undergo this surgery. Women with elastic skin would have a better chance for the breasts to transform back to its original tightness.

It is very important for you to consider the risk and complications of breast surgery. A number of online web site functions commercially, this make it possible for them not to disclose all information about the complications and risks of breast surgery. It is important to collate information from different sources as it could aid in your final decision-making.

The above information is found in Ms Yvonne Lee, internationally acclaimed book “To All Women Who Want To Enhance Their Breasts Naturally, But Don’t Know How To Start”. It describes and details the most important breast enhancement techniques from every corner of the world. Author Yvonne Lee, provides an unbiased pro-and-con analysis of each technique, in addition to practical information such as how and where to get it, cost, and potential impact on insurance coverage. Breast feeding

Is breast feeding better than bottle feeding?

Breast milk is the best food for your newborn baby. It contains just the right balance of nutrients such as protein, carbohydrates and fat, as well as antibodies that help your baby fight off illness and infection. Breast milk is also at exactly the right temperature for your baby.

breast feeding is much more convenient than bottle feeding, as you do not have to worry about cleaning bottles and teats, or storing formula.

Will breast feeding help me to lose weight?

breast feeding does not necessarily help you to lose weight, This helps you to regain your pre-pregnancy shape.

Does the size of my breasts affect how much milk I produce?

The size of your breasts does not affect how much milk you produce. The reason one woman has small breasts and another has large breasts has to do with the amount of fatty tissue in the breasts. The number of mammary (lacrimal) glands, which produce the milk, is generally the same from woman to woman.

Does my nipple shape effect my ability to breast feed?

If you have flat (retracted) nipples or nipples that go inward (inverted), your baby may have difficulty latching on to the nipple, so you may need to prepare your breasts beforehand. You might try massaging the area around the nipples, and use your forefinger and thumb to push the nipples out.

When do I start breast feeding?

It is best to start breast feeding your baby immediately or shortly after birth, as this provides a vital re-connection between you and your child after the ‘separation’ of labour. It also helps your baby become used to using his or her senses to find your breast and to feed.

How long should each breast feeding session be?

Again, each baby is different. The average feeding time is between 15 and 40 minutes, but let your baby decide how long he or she wants to feed.

What should I eat while I am breast feeding my baby? Can I drink alcohol?

Good nutrition is important not only for the quality of your milk, but also for your health and well being (which is important since you are going to be busy over the coming months). Eat well and regularly, bread, other cereals and potatoes; fruits and vegetables; milk and dairy foods (important sources of calcium); and meat, fish and alternatives (such as beans or lentils).

Any alcohol you drink is passed on to your baby through your milk. If you do drink, do so in moderation, choosing low-alcohol drinks and always eating first. Do not smoke, as there is evidence that nicotine is passed to the baby in breast milk. Babies whose parents smoke are also more likely to suffer from asthma and other respiratory diseases, and are subject to the risks of passive smoking.

For how long should I breast feed my baby?

That is for you, your partner and your baby to decide. Ideally, you may try to breast feed your baby exclusively for six months, you can supplement solid food with breast milk for up to a year or even longer if you want. No matter how long you breast feed.

What if I have problems?

breast feeding is natural, but that does not mean that it is easy or should ‘come naturally’ to you. Successful breast feeding takes determination, patience and persistence in the first few weeks of your baby’s life.

Health Coverage for Senior Citizens

Health insurance for retirees or senior citizens can be confusing, especially with so many options and requirements. However, health insurance is crucial for retirees. As you grow older, your health obviously becomes more of an issue; you may visit the doctor more, need to fill more prescriptions, or even receive in-home care. Before you retire, prepare for health insurance to ensure that you receive the best benefits.

The first step in planning your health insurance coverage in your retirement is to see if your employer offers insurance coverage after you retire. If the company does, you should certainly consider it. Look at the plan, the deductible, and the coverage. Many near-retirees believe that Medicare will cover their medical payments, but this is not always the case. With this sort of coverage, you will most likely receive better health care but at a more expensive cost. As a retiree, you will certainly have a health insurance budget to maintain, and you will have to decide if the cost of your employer’s insurance is too expensive.

If your employer does not offer coverage, Medicare will be an important and integral part of your health insurance if you are 65 years of age or older. Medicare works like traditional health insurance plans in that you have been contributing a small portion of every paycheck you earn into this plan. Once Medicare begins, you will make co-payments for office visits or treatment. Medicare will also cover the expense of certain medical equipment or needs.

However, Medicare did not cover a number of items that are typical of health insurance. The government recently updated Medicare and divided it into three parts: Part A, B, and C. Part A covers hospital care, such as home health care, hospital stays, and hospice care. This part does not require a premium. Part B covers the more routine medical expenses, such as office visits and laboratory tests, while Part C enrolls you into a fee-for-service or managed care plan that reduces your out-of-pocket costs. Despite these different options, Medicare restricts your coverage by not covering certain kinds of care or illnesses and diseases. Thus, there is also Medigap coverage, which helps fill in the gaps in health insurance that Medicare leaves. Medigap coverage differs from state to state and has different payments.

Beyond Medicare and Medigap, there are also long-term care insurance plans that you can buy. You often see these plans advertised on the television at very low prices. These plans can help cover the costs of a nursing home or home health care. With so many different options and limitations, if you are retiring soon, you should take a look at your budget and what you can afford as well as what sort of coverage you feel you will need.
